I know most of us love to layer but what about the bulk that comes with it?? I for one cannot deal with the sleeves not being long enough or the sweater sleeves being too long and let's not get started on the bulge that happens in the front!
Recently I did a closet review for myself, something I do every couple of weeks, and I had multiple button front shirts that are too small. I didn't really want to get rid of them so I asked myself what can I do with these 3 shirts? And it came to me, just cut the sleeves off! This reduces the bulk in the front, and the issue with the sleeves. The cut is kind of rough but if you want to be neater, just use a seam ripper. Chic!
I understand the complexity in trying to keep your wardrobe versatile. Shopping can be difficult for some of us who spend majority of our lives in a corporate setting. I often find myself wanting to purchase more items for my "off" days when I really don't have many of those. Versatility can still be achieved if you have the tools to incorporate your weekend wear into your work week. I hope to provide you with more options to get you started. Good Luck!
